Meet Estelle!

✨ Estelle first came to us, found her forever home, and was recently surrendered back to RSPCA. Even after everything, she’s still the same sweet, resilient girl we remember. This beautiful tabby is friendly and loves her space — she’s the type to greet you with soft head bumps and purrs, then curl up on her perch to watch over her kingdom. In the photo she’s looking so regal on her hammock, totally comfortable and at peace. Estelle is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe for good this time. She’s old enough to be settled, young enough for many years of companionship, and she already knows how to be a loving companion. Everyone deserves a second chance at a forever home. Austine

Meet Austine!

Austine was collected by RSPCA a few months ago. Since then, she’s been health checked, rehabilitated, and is now ready to find her forever home! She’s well-mannered and listens well. A real sweetheart who loves to do the right thing She’s used to humans and other dogs, so she fits right into family life. She’s playful and bright, with a wagging tail that says it all.

Austine needs a loving home that will give her love, routine, and some playtime. She would do great with: Families, singles, or seniors— she’s already used to canine friends! Austine has so much love to give and is ready to be someone’s loyal best friend.

Mary

Meet Mary!

Mary came to us after being surrendered by her previous owner, and she’s been settling in beautifully. This sweet tabby girl is friendly and loves her space — the perfect combo. She’ll happily come over for pets and gentle attention, then retreat to her favorite cozy spot to watch the world go by.

You can often find her curled up in her cat condo just like in this photo, with those bright golden eyes keeping an eye on everything. Mary would thrive in a calm home with someone who respects her independence but still gives her lots of love. She’s young, healthy, and ready to be the queen of her own quiet corner again.

Meet Tina!

Tina is looking for her furever home 💕

She’s a gentle, friendly tabby with soft fur, & bright eyes. Tina loves people. She loves head scratches, quiet company, and curling up where she knows she’s safe. Tina was surrendered to RSPCA PNG through no fault of her own. She didn’t choose to end up here — but she’s choosing every day to trust, to be sweet, and to believe her person is coming. Now she’s just waiting. Waiting for a family to choose her back.

Browny

Meet Browny!

Browny came to RSPCA a few months ago. Life before wasn’t easy for him, so he’s a little shy at first and takes time to trust new people. The good news: he’s been fully health checked, rehabilitated, and is now ready to start his next chapter with a patient, loving family.

A calm, understanding home that will give him time to settle. He’d do best with:

  • Adults or older kids who understand shy dogs
  • A routine and lots of patience
  • Someone who will let him come to them on his terms — he rewards that trust with loyalty

Melo, our handsome senior statesman! As the longest-term resident at the shelter, this sweet boy is more than ready to swap his kennel for a cozy couch.

Meet Jemma!

Gemma is a sweet girl who’s looking for her forever person. She came to us after being surrendered to the NCDC pound by her previous owner, and we’re so glad she’s been safe with us and ready for a fresh start. She’s gentle, curious, and has the softest purr when she feels comfy.

Gemma loves sunbathing, chasing feather toys, and curling up for naps. She’s still young so she has plenty of playful energy.

Meet Ensel!

Ensel was collected by RSPCA PNG and is now ready to find her forever home! She’s a bright, happy gal with a big personality packed into a medium-sized bod Ensel isn’t just looking for a home — she’s looking for a walking partner, an adventure buddy, and someone to share all the good sniffs of life with.

Ensel would ideally settle in a home that can keep up with her curiosity and give her daily walks + play time. She would do great with:

  • Active people or families who love the outdoors.
  • A secure yard for her to explore safely.
  • Someone who appreciates an independent but affectionate companion

Jane

Meet Jane!

Jane was surrendered to RSPCA Shelter at around 5-6months old with her five ither siblings.  Although they have all been adopted, Jane spends much of her time around other dogs in the shelter and is very friendly to humans and animals alike.

She’s been desexed and has been waiting for a mate. She’s a quick to leaner, loves a good belly rub, and is calm on a leash. She’s good with other medium, easy-going dogs and is curious but respectful around kids. She’s still a bit shy at first, but give her 10 minutes and a treat and you’ve got a new best friend.

Adoption Process

Why Adopt?

Every year, the RSPCA provides shelter to thousands of animals in need of a good home. By choosing adoption, you’ll not only have the chance to make a friend for life, but you’ll be giving an animal a second chance and helping support the RSPCA.

  • A second chance: wonderful pets come through our doors every day for a wide range of different reasons, through no fault of their own. These include animals surrendered by their previous owners, and sadly some who have suffered neglect or cruelty. By adopting an animal in need, you’ll truly be giving a second chance to someone who needs it.
  • Find your perfect match: our RSPCA staff really get to know the animals in adoption centres and Petbarn stores, so we can help you meet and fall in love with the pet who’s right for you!
  • Pets are well looked after: all RSPCA animals undergo health and behaviour assessments, are fed a nutritious and healthy diet, and all dogs and cats are desexed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
  • Supporting the RSPCA: every dollar of your adoption fee helps us care for other animals, as well as investigating and prosecuting animal cruelty and educating the community about responsible pet ownership.
