RSPCAPNG arranges and conducts all necessary medical requirements for travel, including microchipping, vaccinations, preventative treatments (e.g., tick/flea/worming), blood tests, and all associated veterinary certificates.

The required paperwork will need endorsement by NAQIA. The RSPCAPNG can arrange this for you within the specific date requirements before export.

The RSPCAPNG can assist with weighing the pet and collecting the Airway Bill (AWB) from the airline cargo handling agent (likely ANG Cargo).
Travel Crates
IATA-approved travel crates are mandatory for overseas travel, and these are available for purchase at the RSPCAPNG vet clinic shop.
Pet Import Quarantine Facility
The RSPCA PNG Quarantine Centre provides quarantine facilities for imported dogs and cats. During quarantine, these pets will be observed and monitored for clinical signs of exotic diseases, such as rabies.
